Mrs. Emilie Richter, aged 82 years, passed away August 4, 1946, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Williams in Kennewick. She was born in Germany in 1864 and came to the United States with her parents when one year old. The family lived in Wisconsin a number of years, then moved to Renville, Minn., where she met Herman Richter whom she married in 1884. She and her husband lived in Milbank, So. Dak., and in 1902 moved to Latah, Wash. In 1906 they came to Richland where they made their home. To their union were born 11 children, with 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Evangelic church. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Aug. 7, at the Mueller Chapel with Rev. J.B. Coan in charge.
