Mr. and Mrs. Homer Fowler, left Saturday afternoon by train for Cato, N.Y., to attend the funeral of her father, Robert Edwin Porter (1881-1957), who passed away last Saturday morning at 7 o’clock, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were Monday at his home and interment was at Conquest Cemetery. Mr. Porter was 76 years old. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Naomi Wilcox Porter, six sons and five daughters and 24 grandchildren. Friends here of Mrs. Fowler sympathize with her in the loss of her father.
