Danny Michael Hix, 65, of Searcy, AR., died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at his home.
He was born April 6, 1947, at Batesville, AR.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Hix.
Survivors include his mother, Winnie E. Kimbrough Hix of Searcy; son, Brian Hix of Hobbs, N.M.; sister, Shirley Duprel and husband David of Greenville, Miss.; and three nieces.
A private family memorial service was held in Searcy under direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Batesville. Interment was in Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in North Little Rock.
