She was born September 9, 1941 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Arthur James Goody and Vernetta Letitia Geisler Goody. She grew up in Lewisville, Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School in 1959. She worked at the INEL as an administrative secretary.
On June 29, 1963, she married Eugene Gordon Moshberger in the Lewisville LDS chapel. Following the birth of her four daughters and being a homemaker for many years, she returned to work at the INEL. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Judy enjoyed picking out the perfect birthday card for her family and all the grandchildren looked forward to receiving their card. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing meals with her family. She had a talent for and enjoyed decorating her home. Spending time with her 14 grandchildren was the joy of her life.

daughters, Sheri L. (Kirk) Swenson of Idaho Falls, ID;
Tamra K. (Brad) Johnson of Etna, WY;
Gina L. (Ken) Johnson of Pleasant Grove, UT; and
Dana J. (Bailey) Pack of American Fork, UT;
siblings, Arla Goody of Idaho Falls, ID;
and Arthur G. (ElRae) Goody of Ammon, ID;
and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Butler and grandson, Blake Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Sage Creek LDS Ward chapel at 3370 North 500 West (East River Road) in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge Avenue) and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
