HENRY ALLISON DEAD
POMEROY, Feb 25 - Henry W. Allison, 83, of Patriot, well known in Western Meigs as an operator of an old-time grist mill and as a justice of the peace, fell dead on his farm Saturday, death being attributed to heart failure.

Former Justice of Peace Was A Lifelong Resident of Gallia County
Henry W. Allison died suddenly at his home near Patriot following an illness of leakage of the heart. He was a life long resident of Gallia Co. and was well known having served as Justice of the Peace in his community for many years.
He would have reached the age of 83 in April. He is survived by his widow and two sons and two daughters: Dom of Patriot; Benda (should have read Bundy) of Chillicothe; Mrs. John Gates of Shelbyville, Ind., and Mrs. Frank Eachus of this city. A son, Arthur, and a daughter, Mrs. John Maddy preceded him in death a few years ago. He also leaves four sisters and two brothers: Leticia and Letta of Columbus; Mrs. Reese Fox of Rodney; Lorena, of Chicago; Fletcher of Columbus; and John of Idaho, formerly supt. of the local schools.
The funeral will be held at Bethesda Sunday at 2 o'clock in charge of Undertaker Elliott.
