JOSEPH A. DUNLAP
Joseph A. Dunlap, 86, of Soap Lake, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at McKay Nursing Home in Soap Lake.
He was born on March 16, 1898 in Pennsylvania and was a retired lineman for Northwest Bell Telephone. He married Mary Josephine Potter on Nov. 16, 1942 in Benton County, Wash., and the couple had been residents of the area for the past 39 years.
Mr. Dunlap was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ephrata.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Josephine, at the home; five daughters: Joan Berg of Eltopia, Naomi Parker of Dover, Del., Charlotte Dillon of Tonasket, Judy Bremmer of Ephrata, and Mary Dillon of Ephrata; five sons, Everett Dunlap of La Pine, Ore., John Dunlap of Estacada, Ore., Alvin Dunlap of Odessa, Clark Dunlap of Snohomish and Joe Dunlap; one sister, Sylvia Meadows of Bakersfield, Calif., and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Nicoles Funeral Home in Ephrata with the Rev. Donald Stoops officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Park in Soap Lake.
Nicoles Funeral Home in Ephrata is in charge of arrangements.
