Janet was a friend of mine in the first grade in Broomfield, CO. She had Lukemia and was ill throughout the school year.
She was such a cute little girl she was very sweet and fun loving. I always enjoyed playing with her and I was very saddened by her death. I never had the chance to see her before she died or say good bye.
Death is a hard thing to deal with at such a young age and I had just lost my older sister too. That is me sitting next to Janet on the stairs in my house. It was my 7th birthday party.
I have thought about Janet my entire life and just recently dug through old Broomfield news papers to find something about her death. I found out that she is buried here and now that I have seen her grave I feel complete. She has been gone from my life for so long but has remained in my heart.
Good bye Janet, I WILL see you again.
