Funeral services for Harry A. Hysell, for many years a resident of the Northfield, Stanton and Farmington communities who passed away at his home in St. Charles on Wednesday, Aug. 10, following a several months' illness were held on Saturday. Services were held in the St. Charles Methodist church with the Rev. W. E. Mahle officiating at 1:30 p. m. During the service Harry Dack sang "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go," and "Abide With Me" at the church. Interment was made in the Stanton cemetery. At the services held in the cemetery with the Rev. Mr. Mahle officiating Mr. Dack sang "The Lord's Prayer." Pallbearers were John Logan, Dan Hankerson, Roy Hoffman and Stewart Clarkson, all of St. Charles, William Wilson of Minneapolis and Carl Dahlstrom of Owatonna. Harry Hysell was born Agust 6, 1892, the son of Andrew I. Hysell and Gertrude Truesdale Hysell at North Platte, Nebr. The family resided at Miles, Iowa, until 1913 when they moved to Northfield where they resided until 1919. On October 8, 1919 he was united in marriage to Miss Genevieve Dack of Stanton. They made their home in Stanton while Mr. Hysell was manager of the Stanton plant of the Twin City Milk Producers Association from 1920 until 1937 when he became manager of the Farmington TCMPA locker plant. He continued in this position from 1937 until 1944 when he became manager and co-owner of the St. Charles Milk Processing company. Since that time the family has made its home in St. Charles. Mr. Hysell was a member of the Methodist church, A.F. and A.M. Oriental lodge, Cannon Falls, Shrine, Osman Temple of St. Paul and of the Scottish Rite, Winona. Besides his widow, Mr. Hysell is survived by one son, Niles A. Hysell of Minneapolis and one grandson, Niles, Jr. There are also two sisters, Mrs. Alison Menneke (Lola) of Clinton, Iowa; and Mrs. Hugo Erickson (Ruth) of Miles, Iowa; and three brothers, Marshall, Miles, Iowa; Howard, Pickstown, S D., and Leslie of Browerville.
