She was a great person and devout christian. She was married to Allen Mitchell. Died several years after having a massive stroke from gangrene while at the hospital.

She was a hardworking woman, brave and independent,She took a piece of swampland in Defuniak Springs, Fl and fed herself and family and neighbors and and turned it into a garden and chicken coop. She was also a nutritionist at the local Defuniak Springs hospital for 30 years.
