Hite Hillerich
Hite Hillrich, 83, a resident of the Salem area for 15 years, died Tuesday, Feb 13, at a Woodburn nursing home.
He was born in Kentucky and was a lumber salesman before moving to Salem. For several years in Salem he was desk clerk at the old Argo Hotel.
Survivors include sons, David of Sparks, Nev., Howard of Portland and W. E. of Salem and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 16, at the Belle Passi cemetery. Simon Woodburn Funeral Chapel had charge of funeral arrangements.
