They were the parents of Mary Matilda (Mayme), Martha Jane (Matt), Alice Hannah, George Whitney, Roderick Charles, George Milton Jr., William John, Leila Irene, and Maurice Edwin.

The family is recorded on the 1880 census in Peshtigo, Marinette, Wisconsin and the 1900 census in Marinette, Marinette, Wisconsin. In 1910 they were in North Yakima, Yakima, Washington and in 1920 they were in Opportunity, Spokane, Washington.
