Cpl. U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Cpl. Disselkoen was killed in action on 6-5-1969 while serving as a {11B10} Infantryman with the 3rd Platoon of Co. C of the 1st Battalion, 11th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. Cpl. Disselkoen started his tour of Vietnam on November 14, 1968.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Theodore E. Disselkoen of 2440 179th Street, Lansing, Illinois.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
