Deborah K Brown, [Debbie as we knew her] was 56 yers old. She died July 9, 2009. She was a member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Salem, KY. Her parents were Harry [Buddy] and Katherine [Hill] Stone.
Survivors include her Husband Johnny Brown of Salem; two sons David Fritts and wife Shellee of Marion, and Arron Fritts of Marion; four brothers, Rev. Steve Stone, Stacy Stone, Kevin Stone and Tim Stone, all of Henderson, Ky., and one sister, Belinda Clement of Henderson. Her 1st husband was David Fritts buried in Crooked Creek Cemetery.

Debbie was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Stone; her mother, Kathrine Stone; and her father, Harry [Buddy] Stone. Her grandparents Learner and Ocie Stone, Step grandmother Marian C Stone, Maternal Grandparents Coy and Mayme Hill.

Funeral services were July 12 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion with her brother Steve doing the service. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

For many years Debbie sang with her family's Gospel Group, Stone Family Singers started by her father. Debbie had a beautiful voice and at her funeral a recording of her singing a solo in Amazing Grace was played. Everyone recognized her beautiful voice and probably not a dry eye there. Debbie loved her God and her family.
Debbie is our niece.
