T.E. Medaris, 65, a resident of Borger since 1945, died Thursday at North Plains Hospital. He had been retired from Phillips Petroleum Company since last April. Medaris was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled Saturday at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with the pastor, Dr. Winfred Moore, officiating. Masonic graveside services will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Allie, of the home at Apt. 9, Philrich; two sons, B.J. Medaris of Borger and Edward Medaris, Fort Worth; four daughters, Mrs. Rheua Nell McClanahan of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Miss Oliver Medaris of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Margaret Moss of Stinnett and Mrs. Peggy Lowe of Bunavista.

Also surviving are one brother, Clarence Medaris of Sacramento, California; two sisters, Mrs. John Hinds of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Mrs. Lettie Tolland of Ardmore and eight grandchildren.
