Services for Mrs. Dora B Amore, 68, of 118 S Water St.,who died earlier Tuesday at County Memorial Hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m.Friday at the Given Funeral Home.
Rev. Charles Fletcher will officiate and burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.Members of V F W Post 1330 Auxiliary will hold services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs.. Amore was born Dec. 3, 1903 in Coshocton a daughter of William & Ada Crogan Jeffries. She had been married twice to James Mills and Jesse Amore, both deceased.
Mrs. Amore was formerly employed as a cook at Bando Restaurant for 15 years, retiring in 1966.
For the past several years she had resided at the home of, and was a housekeeper for George Caley of 118 S. Water St. She was a member of VFW Post 1330.
Surviving are one son, James Mills of Marblehead, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Charlotte) Morgan, Cardington Rt.2, Mrs. James (Lillian Jean) Ayers, 631 Cottonwood St., and Mrs. Edgar (Donna) Robertson, 233 locust St; one brother, Walter Jeffries, 330 Elm St.; four sister, Mrs. Mary Miller, 128 S. Sixth St., Mrs. Arthur (Grace) Phillips, Dowagaic,Mich, Mrs. Edith Scherrer, Cleveland, and Mrs. Virginia Hays, Wisconsin; twelve grandchildren and one great grandson. One brother is deceased.
