Dominic P. Cavallaro Passed away May 15, 2005, in San Jose. Born August 2, 1923, in Pratola, Italy. Dominic served in the United States Air Force and was a Veteran of World War II.

Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Louis and Victor. Survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Elsa, brother Cris and sister Mary. Loving father of Patricia (David), Paul (Heidi), David (Sheila), Diane (Paul) and Denise (Pete). Beloved grandfather of Elise (Michael), David, Kyle, Taylor, Amber, Trevor, and Tony.

Dominic retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 17 years of service and then ran his own tool business for ten years.

Gardening became his passion. His roses and orchids were legendary among his family members and many friends.

Visitation Sunday, May 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at LIMA FAMILY SANTA CLARA. Funeral Mass on Monday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Church, with interment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1710 Gilbreth Rd., Burlingame, California 94010.
