Forest Junction – Suffering from fatal burns inflicted when a can of waste oil exploded in the milkhouse on his father’s farm early last week, Victor W. Huebner, 24-years-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Huebner, died about 15 minutes before midnight last Friday at Bellin Memorial hospital, Green Bay, where he had been taken immediately after the mishap.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon. The Evangelical United Brethren church here, where he was a member, was occupied by workmen this week and the funeral service was consequently held at the town of Brillion Methodist church, three miles east of here.

Dr. W. H. Wiese, well known Methodist pastor of Clintonville, uncle of the decedent, delivered the funeral sermon; the scripture lesson was read by the Rev. Wendell Bennetts, Brillion pastor and the biographical sketch was presented by the Rev. G. L. Bursack.

Pallbearers were Reuben Keller, Silas Ott, Donald and Leslie Schnell, Harold Ott, and Roy Knoespel, Bible class members of the Evangelical Sunday School, of which the deceased was also a member.

Burial followed the church services on a family lot in the Evangelical Cemetery here.

Survivors are his parents and one brother, Ralph of Forest Junction, Route 1.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Lawrence, in January, 1915 and a sister, Clara in March 1930.
