Word was received in this city on Monday afternoon by Gid Hall, Union Pacific conductor, of the death of Adah Marie Hall, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hall, which occurred at Salt Lake City, Utah, death resulting from pneumonia. She was 21 years of age. Miss Hall had gone to Salt Lake City some weeks ago from her home in Omaha on a vacation trip and it was here that she became ill. Her mother was sent for and was at her bedside when the end came. The family ...(illegible)...here, having resided in Grand Island until twelve or fourteen years ago when Mr. Hall was transferred to Omaha. Mrs. Hall was formerly Ethel McCombs, of this city. The grief stricken parents and one brother are left to mourn the passing of the daughter and sister. The remains were brought to this city for burial, arriving here on No. 20 Tuesday evening, accompanied by the parents. Funeral services were held from the home of Mrs. J. H. Yund, 222 West Eighth street at two o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. Marsten, rector of the Episcopal church of Kearney, officiating. Interment took place in the Grand Island cemetery.
