Ehel Margaret DESMOND, born in the Ninth Ward, Brooklyn, June 2, 1901, the daughter of Daniel F. and Mary GROGAN DESMOND, died on Friday morning at her home, 14 Underhill avenue, of pneumonia. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality and a life member of St. Joseph's R. C. Church, where a solemn mass of requiem will be said tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Since she had finished her scholastic work she had been engaged as a clerk by the Everett & Healy Company, of Manhattan. In addition to her parents, she is survived by four brothers, Harold, Arthur, Stephen and Benjamin. Interment will be made in the family plot at Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of William DUNIGAN & Son, of 202 Park. Avenue. Brooklyn Standard Union, October 27, 1918
