Gertrude Garrison Nabors:
A retired Livingston Parish school teacher and a resident of Denham Springs, she died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 95 and a native of Livingston Parish. Visiting at Amite Baptist Church. Denham Springs, from 10 a.m. Thursday until religious services at noon, conducted by the Rev. Terry Booth. Interment in Amite Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survived by her daughter, Noma Nabors Impson, Watson; and grandchildren, Denise Frugé,Baton Rouge, and John Impson II, Falls Church, Va.

Preceded in death by her husband, Victor R. Nabors; parents, George and Beulah Moore Garrison; a brother, Rudolph Garrison; and sisters, Effie Impson, Georgia Shilling, Thelma Hughes and Sarah Impson.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Sykes, Raydon Brooks, Raymond Brooks, Hansen Bordelon III, Adam Shilling and Johnnie Erwin.

She was a member of Amite Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Seale Funeral Home Inc., Denham Springs, in charge of arrangements.
