Ernest Leroy "Roy" Barnwell, 75, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 2, 2012, at his home in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Aug. 5, with Bro. Jerry Barnwell officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
He was born May 27, 1937, in Crab Orchard, the son of Ernest White and Vesta (Boles) Barnwell.
Mr. Barnwell worked at the handle mill and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ivory Mable Barnwell; son, Larry Wayne Barnwell; parents, Ernest White and Vesta (Boles) Barnwell; and brother, Albert Spencer Barnwell.
