Cause of death - Bronchial pneumonia.

Emily {Age 86; Widow} is recorded on
the 1920 census at Wells, York, Maine
dwelling with her daughter, Mary Chase.

FAMILY RECORDS of Tom Chase:
**************************
Her death certificate in Wells records her parents as Joseph Littlefield and Abigail Littlefield. Her marriage intentions in Sanford records her as Emily Stevens.
Considering the difference in ages of Joseph and Abigail it is possible that Abigail was previously involved in some way with a man named Stevens prior to her marriage to Joseph. The information on the death certificate is only as good as the memory of the person giving the information and it may be that my great-grandmother, Mary Frances Chase, gave the name of the only grandfather that she ever knew; Joseph Littlefield.
