Jack Marvin Moore Answers Deaths Call Friday Widow is Teacher and Former Scott County Register Mrs. James Marvin (Jack) Moore died here at his home on North Main Street last Friday morning about eight o'clock following a serious illness of about three weeks. Mr. Moore, who was 41 years of age, was a traveling salesman, was well-known here and in the surrounding counties where his work called him. He was a member of the Methodist church, having joined when he was a small boy of about eleven years of age. Funeral services were conducted here Saturday morning at eleven o'clock at the Methodist church with Rev. W. F. Barber, pastor, officiating. The body was taken to Henrietta, Texas, for interment, accompanied by Mrs. Moore and a brother, Frank Moore. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Frances Moore who is a teacher in the public schools, former Register of Deeds for Scott county, and the daughter of the late E. S. Boshears of Huntsville; father, who resides in Texas; five sister; five brothers and a large number of relatives. (Source: The Scott County News.
