Charlotte Maxine Trenkle, 83, of Farmer City passed away at 8:40 p.m. Friday (Aug. 3, 2012) at Farmer City Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
She was born June 14, 1929 in Goose Creek Township, Piatt County, Illinois, a daughter of Lyle H. and Margaret E. Copley Furtney. She married Paul E. Trenkle on Aug. 26, 1961 in Burlingame, California. He passed away on Oct. 12, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Delores Swigart.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Margaret (Jon) Brock of Fort Bragg, N.C. and Paula Jeanne "PJ" (Jim) Foster of Farmer City and four grandchildren, Trent Brock, Treyce Brock, Hillary Foster and Hunter Foster.
