Laura A. Hoskins, 92, of Belding, passed away Friday morning August 3, 2012 at Spectrum Health in Greenville. Laura was born on May 13, 1920 in Sauk Centre, Stearns County, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Lena M. (Pratt) Macomber. She was married on November 20, 1937 in Sand Lake to Frederick " Ted" Hoskins and he preceded Laura on October 29, 1999. She was also preceded by her parents, two sisters; Alice Henson, Anna Harris and seven brothers; George, Theodore, Ralph, Everett, Leslie, Marvin, Richard, a daughter and son in law; Linda and John Luyben and two grandchildren; Dawn and Karlene. Laura was a long time member of Shiloh Community Church. She enjoyed time spent with family, cooking, sewing and listening to the music of the Irish Christian singer Danny O'Donnell. Laura is loved and survived by her children; Beverley and Pastor Ken Harger of Long Lake, Dr. Alice Hamachek of Okemos, Ron Hoskins of Iron Mountain, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and one sister Louise Heckman of Fremont. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday August 7, 2012 at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Committal prayers will follow at Orleans Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at Johnson- Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
