NEW ALBANY - Rebecca Inez Cavender Dunn, 91, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany. She was born Aug. 12, 1920, in Union County to Claude and Alta Mae Caldwell Haynie. She was a homemaker. At the time of her death she was the oldest living member of Hopewell ARP Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at United Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Dan Hazen officiating. Burial will be in Glenfield Memorial Park. United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by two sons, Wade Cavender (Lane) of New Albany and Tony Cavender (Janice) of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Lane Cavender, Tanya Jackson, Kevin Cavender and Kristen Switzer; and seven great-grandchildren, Seleigh Jackson, Emily Jackson, Lauren Cavender, Katilyn Cavender, Natalie Switzer, Eliza Cavender and Esme Cavender.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John H. Cavender; her second husband, Burns Dunn; and one sister, Eloyse Caldwell.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today.
