DIES AT AGE 58

Resident Succumbs

After Year's Illness.

Fred F. Austin, 58, of 125 S. Spring St., died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday in St. Josaph's Hospital

after an illness of one year. Mr. Austin was born in Hardin County, Tenn., Oct. 31, 1903, and

came to Mishawaka in 1951 from Logansport. He was employed as  a track division inspector by the Pennsylvania Railroad for 19 years. He married Cecil Sharp in Tennessee in Tennessee in 1924

Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Richard Deardorff of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Nell Donlin of Upper Darby, 

Pa., and three grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, Enoch Austin, of Nashville, Tenn.; and four sisters, Mrs. Artie Lynch, and Mrs. Edward Arnette, both of Nashville, and Mrs. Ruth Hunt and Mrs. Jack Mabry, also of Tennessee.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Thallemer-GoethalsFuneral Home. Mr. Austin was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church here.
