Bonnie Bee (Syler) Clark Wells

She was the daughter of William Isaac and Retha Louretta (Riley) Syler and married Thomas Wilson "Tom" Clark - 05 Feb 1922 - Lincoln Co., Tennessee. After his death, she married William Walter "Walt" Wells - 10 Nov 1956 - Lincoln County, Tennessee. Her obituary follows:

Mrs. Bonnie Bee Syler Clark Wells of Flintville died Saturday morning at her residence following a brief illness. She was 67 years old and first married to Thomas W. Clark who died in 1942, and later to Walter W. Wells, who survives.

Services were conducted Monday afternoon in the Chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with the Rev. R. E. Burroughs and the Rev. G. D. Marion officiating. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Wells, a native of Lincoln County, was a daughter of the late William I. and Retha Lou Syler. She was a member of the Shady Grove Methodist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. Opal Griffith of Shady Grove; three sons, Cecil Clark, Chicago, William Clark and Dale Clark, both of Lincoln County; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Ozell Taylor, Mrs. J. W. Taylor, Mrs. Henry Warren, Mrs. J. B. Mitchell, all of Lincoln County, and Mrs. Doris Mullins, Scottsboro, Alabama; three stepsons, Thomas Wells, Hammond, Indiana, J. D. Wells, Maitland, Florida, and Leon Wells, Manchester; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Noles, Belvidere, Tennessee, Mrs. Retha Stovall, Hammond, Indiana, and Mrs. Katie Jean, Chicago; three brothers, Marvin H. Syler, Shady Grove, Bulah Syler, Crown Point, Indiana, and William Syler, Hammond, Indiana; two grandchildren, 25 step-grandchildren, and 34 step-great-grandchidren.

A funeral for Mrs. Bonnie Bee Wells, 67, of Flintville, who died Saturday at her residence, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. R. E. Burroughs and the Rev. G. D. Marion officiating. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Wells was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late William I. and Retha Lou Riley Syler. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
