Linda Brumley VanWinkle, 69, of Wichita Falls, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Kuykendall, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Linda was born December 15, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Pat and Ruby Osa (Calhoun) Brumley. She was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Brumley.
She is survived by her husband, B.J. "Rip" VanWinkle; her daughters, Fonda Few and husband Kyle, Kimberly Boggs, Shelly Johnson and husband Pete, and Regina Tatum and husband Gary; her son, Bobby VanWinkle and wife Debbie all of Wichita Falls; brothers, Joe Brumley and wife Carol of Phoenix, Arizona, Buck Brumley of Wichita Falls, and J.W. Brumley of Plano; sisters, Dela Edgemon of Wichita Falls, Patsy Corley, and Betty Romines and husband Tom all of Henrietta, and June Blaylock of Wichita Falls; fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
