He was born September 29, 1901, in Miami County, Kansas, the son of Edward David and Ella Hensley Peel. Mr. Peel was a life long Kansas City resident and a member of the Freeman Baptist Church, Freeman, Missouri.
He had been a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Peel, of the home; three sisters, Verdeen Abbott and Irena Brinkmeyer, Chanute, Kansas, and Marie Travon, Finlay, Ohio; and a grandson.
Funeral services were May 26 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville and burial in the Freeman Cemetery.
