Alpha Lorene Burkhaulter Butler, 74, of Itasca, passed away January 24, 2010 at a Burleson Nursing Home. She was born January 18, 1936 in Rising Star, Texas to the late Arlin "A. F." and Vera Hogan Burkhaulter.
She grew up and went to schools in Rising Star where she graduated from high school in 1954. Alpha married Earl Lee Bulter on August 31, 1956 and they shared 45 years of marriage before his death in 2001. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, and cooking for her family. She was very active in the First United Pentecostal Church in Hillsboro where she served as Sunday School Secretary.
Funeral service, January 27, 2010 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Hillsboro. Interment will be in the Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.
