The certificate of release from German citizenship for the Heidenreich family was issued in Schwerin on July 5, 1873. The voyage took 13 days.

Jacob is buried without a headstone on the lot of his son Christian Heidenreich. Christian Heidenreich is the only headstone on that lot. Burial Dec 31, 1881.
