Obituary
Funeral Services will be held at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 20, 2010 at St. Mary Church for Janet Ann O'Friel, 79, who passed away on September 16, 2010 at 9:28 pm at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Reverend Louis Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. O'Friel, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late George May Moran of Biloxi, Mississippi and the former Olga Fournier of Biloxi, Mississippi. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed dearly by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Edward W. O'Friel of Lafayette; five daughters, Barbara O'Friel of Houston, TX, Jan O'Friel of Lafayette, Joan O'Friel Barras and husband Brent of Carencro, Kelly O'Friel Landry and husband Greg of Lafayette, and Erin O'Friel LeBourgeois and husband Eric of Prairieville; two sons, Michael E. O'Friel and wife Vickie of Lafayette, and Patrick D. O'Friel and wife Zoe of Prairieville; 12 grandchildren, William Bertrand, Matthew O'Friel, Patrick O'Friel, Alex Landry, Bryce Landry, Garrett O'Friel, Katie O'Friel, Ryan Barras, Taylor Barras, Dylan Landry, Hunter Barras and Corinne Landry; three sisters, Kay Joachim of Baton Rouge, Brenda Nelson of Biloxi, MS, and Judy Martino of Biloxi, MS; two brothers, Dennis Moran of Biloxi, MS, and Donald Moran of Hollywood, CA.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; one infant sister, Barbara Jean Moran; one sister, Patricia Cannette; one brother, Matthew Moran.

Pallbearers were Will Bertrand, Patrick O'Friel, Matthew O'Friel, Garrett O'Friel, Bryce Landry, Ryan Barras, Dylan Landry, and Hunter Barras.

Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, Louisinaa was in charge of funeral arrangements.
