He was born May 6, 1906 in Toluca, a son of John and Susan (Hlavinka) Peruba. He married Matilda Negray at St. Stephen's Church in Streator on October 12, 1932.
She survives along with two sons: John R. Peruba of Streator and Dennis Peruba of Ottawa; a daughter: Noreen (Richard) Wheeler of Streator; five grandchildren; his father: John Peruba, Sr.; two sisters: Mrs. John Masley and Mrs. Frank Sabol, all of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and a daughter in infancy.
A resident of Streator most of his life, he was employed by Anthony Company and was a member of St. Stephen's Church.
