TONASKET
Alvin Al C. Dunlap, 66, Tonasket, died Nov. 28 at Central Washington Hospital, Wenatchee. He was born on Aug. 27, 1944, to Joseph and Mary Dunlap.
Survivors include his wife, Dee; three children, Brandi of Tonasket, Ted of Clayton and Robin of Spokane; grandchildren Austen., Ricardo Jr., Talia and Dakota; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, John Dunlap of Oregon, Clark and Rose Dunlap of Gold Bar and Joe and Jackie Dunlap of Soap Lake, and five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joann and Buck Buchanan of Richland, Neoma Parker of Clackamas, Oregon, Charlotte and Doy Dillon of Ephrata, Julia Dunlap of Ephrata and Mary Basso of California.
A memorial service with military honors will be held 11 a.m. December 11 at the Tonasket Free Methodist Church. A potluck luncheon will follow. Arrangements are by Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel and the Okanogan County Crematory, both of Okanogan.

Alvin 'Al' Dunlap
Alvin "Al" Dunlap, 66, passed away Nov. 28, 2010 at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.
He was born Aug. 27, 1944 to Joseph and Mary Dunlap. He attended school in Soap Lake and then entered the military. Al has lived in the Okanogan Valley for 25 years, working at Superior Auto Supply for over 17 years. He has been a mechanic most of his life and truly enjoyed helping others. He loved camping trips with his family.
On June 24, 1972 he married is wife Dee and together they had three children: Brandi Virgin of Tonasket, Ted Dunlap of Clayton, Wash. and Robin Dunlap of Spokane, Wash. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Austin, JR, Talia and Dakota; three brothers: John Dunlap of Oregon, Clark (Rose) Dunlap of Gold Bar, Wash., and Joe (Jackie) Dunlap of Soap Lake, Wash; five sisters: JoAnn (Buck) Buchanan of Richland, Wash., Neoma Parker of Clackamas, Ore., Charlotte (Doy) Dillon of Ephrata, Julia Dunlap also of Ephrata and Mary of California; and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Grenier.
Al will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at the Tonasket Free Methodist Church with a potluck to follow.
Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel and Okanogan County Crematory are in care of arrangements.
