OBITUARY
Alfred O'Connell, age 66, passed away suddenly at his home in the Town of Bloomer Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. O'Connell was born May 19, 1883, in the town of Sampson where he grew to manhood. In 1919 he was married to Eva McKay in Cadott and since their marriage have resided in the town of Bloomer. Mr. O'Connell is survived by his wife and one son, Robert of Cadott; three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Frank McDonald of Bloomer; Mrs. Louis Richardson of the town of Sampson, and Mrs. William Richardson of Baraboo, Wis., and Grant O'Connell of the town of Sampson. Two sons preceded him in death. The remains will lie in state at the Rock Funeral Home, in Bloomer from this evening until the hour of the funeral which will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock from St. Paul's Catholic church in Bloomer, with Rev. Michael Hass officiating. Interment will be made at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cadott. The rosary will be said at 8:30 o'clock tonight and again on Friday at the same time.
