Iwana Odelle Montgomery passed away September 22, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Garden and Funeral Home, presided by Dr. David Mindel, followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.
Pinkie was born in Eldorado, Ark., on May 8, 1923. She married Lewie Montgomery in 1944. That year, they moved to Odessa from Arkansas. Lewie preceded her in death in 1998.
Pinkie was a retired real estate broker and member of First Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star. In recent years she has lived in Seguin, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Patsy Hunt of McQueeney, Texas, Jimmy Montgomery of Houston, Texas, Douglas Manor of New Braunfels, Texas; grandchildren, Summer Perry, David Montgomery, Lisa Hill and Jason Hunt; ten great-grandchildren; as well as many nephews and nieces.
