Martha E. Taylor, 87, of Pensacola, died Thursday, December 8, 2005 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Taylor was born May 7, 1918 in Iva, SC to Henry Luther Moore and Jeannie Spearman Moore. She was a very active member of East Hill Baptist Church, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School classes.Her husband, James T. Taylor, preceded Mrs. Taylor in death. Survivors include her sons, Keith Taylor and wife Pam of Niceville, FL, John Taylor and wife Sharon of Milton, FL, David Taylor and wife Debbie of Pensacola and Allen Taylor and wife Kathy of Pace; daughter, Evelyn Temples and husband Robert of Pace; "adopted" daughter, Millie Rowley and husband Art of Leesburg, AL; sisters, Jenny Crumpton of Dallas, TX and Evelyn Wall and husband Ken of Jennings, LA; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; special family friends, the B.J. Lister family; and numerous nieces and nephews, which she greatly loved.
The family would also like to give special thanks to Mary, Pat, Vicki, Bernadette, Margie and Ernest and everyone at Baptist Manor who gave such special care to Mrs. Taylor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with the Rev. Jim Burkhardt and the Rev. I. G. Hughes officiating
