Albert D. Birkholz, 65, of 1028 Menasha avenue, died Saturday afternoon
following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home, the Rev. Waldemar Gieschen officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Maple Grove in 1882 and in early life farmed in the vicinity
of Reedsville. In 1909 he married Miss Clara Bruss. Twenty-four years ago
they moved to the city. Mr. Birkholz was employed by the city.
Survivors are the wife; brother, Leonard, of this city; two sisters, Mrs.
Ida Danning and Mrs. Herman Wille of Milwaukee.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home until the hour of services.
