FRED BOLDT IS DEAD AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Fred Boldt died yesterday shortly before noon after a lingering illness of
more than a year and the end came as a release from suffering. The funeral
arrangements had not been made and will depend upon the arrival of a son
from San Francisco.
Mr. Boldt was born July 12, 1866 and was fifty-eight years old. He came to
this country at the age of two and has lived in this city practically all
of his life, having served as a cigarmaker for the Reinken company for
thirty-five years. He was married March 12, 1892 to Miss Bertha Ploeckelmann
who survives him together with three sons, Herbert and Alvin of this city
and Roland of San Francisco, Calif. One grandchild also survives.
