Mrs. Henry A. (Mildred) Bonnefoi, 75, of 907 Manitou St., Manitowoc, died Monday, June 17, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert B. Hays will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Bonnefoi was born March 7, 1910, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frederick and Octavia Buerstatte Groll. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated in 1927. Mrs. Bonnefoi was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company as a Stenographer until residing in Seattle, Wash., for a few years. She then returned to Manitowoc and was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, including choir member, pianist and assistant organist for a number of years. Her music interest also included being Manitowoc's first and only harpist for a number of years. She was married to Henry A. Bonnefoi April 7, 1934, at Manitowoc and they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last year.
Survivors include her husband, Henry of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, F. Charles and Lois Bonnefoi of Manitowoc; a daughter, Ms. Jeanne Bonnefoi of Green Bay and seven grandchildren, Thomas, Catherine, Christine, Caroline, Corrine, Timothy and Anthony Bonnefoi of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by a son, John in 1974, a brother, Frederick J. Groll in 1974 and an infant sister.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and then Friday from noon until the time of services at the church. Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
