VACLAV CIZEK (WENZEL)

Death Friday evening after a long illness of Wenzel Cizek, a well-known
resident of our city, in the home of his daughter here, Mrs. Joseph Mlada.
The deceased, who was 73, came from his Bohemian home to Manitowoc County
in 1852 and operated a farm in Town Kossuth. In 1872 he moved to Manitowoc
where he operated a business for many years. His wife preceded him in death
about a year ago. He is survived only by the above named daughter. His
funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon.
