JOSEPH J. DEMBSKY

Joseph J. Dembsky, 74, of 1848 Clermont St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, of a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev.
Leo Schmidt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc, with Military rites at the graveside.
Mr. Dembsky was born Nov. 25, 1895, in Germany, son of the late Valentine
and Gustie Paskiewitz Dembsky. He came to this country at the age of nine.
He married Helen Kotchi in 1925 at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death
Feb. 3, 1934. Then he married Mildred Kotchi Teserik in 1936. He operated
a grocery at Manitowoc from 1920 to 1930 and from 1940 to 1947. Mr. Dembsky
was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 659 and also a member of
World War I Barracks.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, two daughters, four brothers, Frank,
Stanley, Alois and Chester, of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Lucas Patek
of Kewaunee and Mrs. Joe Bohman and Mrs. Elmer Teche of Manitowoc; and 17
grandchildren. A sister and two sons preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance, after 4 p.m.
Thursday, where a memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m.
