JOSEPH EINBERGER

Joseph Einberger Sr., 89, a resident of Shay Lane Home, Manitowoc, for several
years, died Tuesday evening. He had been ill three days.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Inoncents Catholic Church. The Rev. E.A. Radey will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Einberger was born in the Town of Cato March 18, 1870, son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Peter Einberger. He attended school at Clarks Mills and as a young man
was employed in the lime kilns at Grimms.
In 1900, he came to Manitowoc where he was employed at the Boiler Works and later
by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., as a rivet inspector. He retired in 1937. He
married Anna Simmet in 1891. She died in 1940.
Mr. Einberger was a member of the Royal League and a past member of Boiler Makers
local No. 443.
Surviving him are two sons, Edward of Manitowoc and Joseph Jr. of Madison; a
daughter, Mr. E. C. Holland of Green Bay; three brothers, Martin and John of
Manitowoc and Frank of Lakewood; a grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will
be recited at 4 p.m.
