Kossuth Farmer Killed in Fall;

killed last night when he slipped down the stairs at his home and fractured his
skull. He was dead before the arrival of a physician…
Wife Summons Aid
Peter Grall, who, with his wife lived a retired life on the Town Line road a short
distance north of Chili Bill's lodge in the town of Kossuth, suffered fatal
injuries at 11 o'clock last night when he arose from his bed to go down stairs for
a drink of water and fell on the top step, crashing headlong to the lower floor.
His wife went to his assistance and rushed to a neighbor, who summoned Dr. Skwor
of Mishicot. When the physician arrived Mr. Grail was dead. He had suffered a
fractured skull.
The deceased was born in the county and has always made his home here. He was
married 48 years ago to Margaret Swoboda who survives him with four daughters,
Mrs. Anton Burger, and Mrs. Peter Gresholdt, city, Mrs. James Wilda, Racine, Mrs.
John Novatchek, Menchalville, and three sons, Peter of this city, Emil of Casco
and Joseph of Shoto. Three sisters, Mrs. Charles Friedl, City, Mr. Peter Chadek,
Green Bay, Mrs. John Leider of Duck Creek and two brothers, George of Marshfield
and John of California, also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Grall will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock for
the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, with interment at Evergreen cemetery.
The remains may be viewed up to Saturday at the funeral home here.
