Adolph Horstmann, 54, died late Tuesday afternoon at the farm home on Manitowoc route 2 after having been ill for two
weeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2 o'clock at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran church, the Rev. Theo Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The body will be removed to the home from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home Thursday at 7 p.m. and will lie in state until the hour of the funeral.
Mr. Horstmann was born on August 6, 1887, in the town of Two Rivers and lived there all his life. His wife, the former Eleanor Fries, died in June of this year.
Survivors are two children, Lorina and Delmar; one brother, Fred; and one sister, Mrs. William Habek.

Marriage of Adolph/Eleonore Horstmann
The marriage of Miss Eleanor(sic) Freis, daughter of Mrs. Kathryn Freis of the town of Mishicot to Adolph Horstmann, son of Herman Horstmann of the town of Two Rivers took place Saturday morning in St. Peter's Lutheran church, the Rev. Edward Zell officiating. Miss Irene Freis and Hugo Freis were the attending couple. A luncheon and dinner was served at the home by the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Horstmann left for Chicago where they will spend their honeymoon. They will make their home in the Town of Two Rivers where the groom operates a farm. Miss Freis was a school teacher having been engaged in that capacity several years.
