CARL ISSELMANN - Goods Firm Executive Dies Today - Carl F. Isselmann, 47,
Expires This Afternoon After Long Illness

Carl F. Isselmann, 47, general sales manager and a vice president of the
Aluminum Goods Manufacturing company, died this afternoon at his at home,
located at 1201 So10th street.

Death was due to a heart ailment from which he had suffered several months. He
was brought to his home here from a Milwaukee hospital a few weeks ago.

Mr. Isselmann has been a lifelong resident of Manitowoc. Entering the employ of
the Goods company after completing his schooling Mr. Isselmann advanced to an
executive post with the firm. He was associated with the company for more than
30 years.

Survivors are the widow, the former Lottie Zander, one son, John; two daughters,
Ruth and Mary Ann; his father, Frank Isselmann, six sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Isselmann was a member of the Elks lodge and the Lakeside Country club.

Funeral arrangements will be announced Monday.

Funeral Rites Planned For Carl F. Isselmann - Aluminum Good Executive Will Be
Buried On Wednesday

Funeral services for Carl F. Isselmann, 47, Aluminum Goods Manufacturing company
executive, who died at his home on South 10th street Saturday afternoon, will be
held Wednesday.

Services at St. Boniface church at 9 a.m. Wednesday will follow a brief service
at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home at 8:30.

Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Isselmann of this city, Mr. Isselmann spent his
entire life here. After completing his common school education he entered
business college and on completion of his course there entered the employ of the
aluminum firm when only 15 years of age. His first position in the then small
industry engaged in making combs and novelties was in the shipping department,
which he entered March 1, 1905.

Advanced Rapidly - Promotions were rapid for Mr. Isselmann and he advanced to
posts of responsibility in the main office of the company until at his death he
was sales manager and a vice president. Six years ago he joined with other
officials and employes of the company in membership in the 25 years club of the
company.

Despite his responsibilities with the Aluminum Goods company Mr. Isselmann was
drafted to serve the first ward in the city council in 1919. He served two terms
and was chairman of the finance committee in the closing two-year term.

In addition to membership in the Elks and Lakeside Country club Mr. Isselmann
was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Eagles and United Commercial Travelers.

In 1914 he married Miss Lottie Zander of this city.

Survivors are his widow; a son, John, city; two daughters, Ruth and Mary Ann,
city; his father, Frank, city; two brothers, Edward, Harrisburg, Pa., and
George, city; six sisters, Mrs. Richard Bodwin, Mrs. Norbert Lettenerger, Mrs.
Thomas Wattawa, Mrs. Roy Pilger, and Marie, all of this city, and Mr.s Arthur
Pratt, Pittsburgh, Pa.

The body is at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home where it may be
viewed from tonight until hour of the services Wednesday morning.
