Mrs. Charles Jomen, 77, died at her home, 1519 S. 10th street, at 6 p.m.
Monday after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Jomen, nee Margaret Landua, was born Aug. 30, 1862, in the town of
Schleswig. She came to Manitowoc 27 years ago.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. John Augustin, and one son, Herbert Arndt,
both of this city; one brother, Henry Landua of Louis Corners, one sister,
Mrs. Katherine Eckelmann of School Hill, and six grandchildren.
The body will be removed to the residence from the Wattawa, Urbanek & Schlei
funeral home Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be held at the
residence Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
