JOHN KODET
John Kodet, 66 (picture), of 1132 South 25th street, Manitowoc, died Saturday
afternoon at the Holy Family hospital, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mittnacht funeral home,
Manitowoc, with interment in Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Manitowoc Rapids in 1884 and in 1919 married Miss Elizabeth Kochan.
They located on the homestead farm in the town and two years later move to
Manitowoc. He took employment in plant No. 3 of the Aluminum Goods company in
1927 as a fireman and watchman, retiring a year ago.
Survivors are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Anton Kroll of Manitowoc; four sons,
Raymond, Reuben and Orville of Manitowoc and Donald of Sheboygan; two brothers,
Joseph of Sheboygan and Edward of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Koenig
of Sheboygan, Mrs. Elmer Carlson of Manitowoc and Mrs. Joseph Swoboda of Olivia,
Minn.; and five grandchildren.
