Mrs. Ella Kotche, 74, of 1134 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rockwood Lutheran Church, the Rev.
David Worgull officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kotche, nee Ella Fruhriep, was born May 15, 1889, in the Town of Newton,
daughter of the late Wiliam and Sophia Buck Fruhriep Jr. She was married to
Albert Pingel and they lived at Newton until his death. She was married in
1936 to Adolph Kotche. He preceded her in death in 1952.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Elda) Mott, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and a
brother, Adolph Fruhriep, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, two nieces, three grandchildren
and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Thursday until 10:30 a.m. Friday when the casket will be removed to the church
where the body will lie in state until time of service. Memorials can be made
to Rockwood Lutheran church.
